.:. Chapter 1- A Rude Awakening .:.

Clay went to sleep that night, and slept until noon the next day. Clay usually got up around 6:00 A.M. When he woke up, he felt much better. Just like the morning before, the sun was shining in his face. After about 2 seconds of him laying in his bed enjoying himself, he heard a loud yell "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" It was his mother, and it was coming from the kitchen. He figured another Ratatta got in the house. He reached over to his night stand, where he had put his Poke Ball with Cyndaquil in it. "Oh my gosh!" he said to himself "It's not there!" He ran into the kitchen and it was Cyndaquil that was scaring his mother! Clay said "How did Cyndaquil get out of his Poke Ball?!?"
"I let him out so I could get to know him!" Shouted his mother back.
"Looks like you've made a bad mistake, where's the Poke Ball at?" Replied Clay.
His mother said "It's on the bar next to Cyndaquil." Clay ran to the bar, picked up the Poke Ball, and shouted in the same tone as before "Cyndaquil, return!" Cyndaquil immediately stopped, and returned.

He ran up to Prof. Mahogany's lab so he could tell him where to start off at on his journey to be the Pokemon master. Prof. Mahogany said "Head out to Carryvinay City so you can leave this region on a boat! Head to Kanto, since there are no gyms here yet." Clay agreed and stormed out, anxious to be on his way. He knew how to get to Carryvinay City, he had been there before with his mother so they could go to the Poke Mart, Takon Town didn't even have one! Very few people lived in the Vigontaro region. That's why it has no gyms. Just two short years ago, no people lived on it at all! The Vigontaro region had no special Pokemon, either. Just ones from other regions. Clay and Lonny's families were forced to move there because of the Kanto becoming over-populated. Some people moved there by will, but most were forced away from other regions. Just as he was going outside of Takon Town, his mother ran after him, wished him luck, gave him a map of the Vigontaro region.

He was almost all the way through when he was attacked by a wild Starly! He sent out his Cyndaquil! He yelled "Cyndaquil, use scratch!" Starly had almost fainted, when it called three friends, and flew away! They all three used peck, and Cyndaquil was in major pain, almost fainting! All of the sudden, a man in a black hoodie with a yellow "R" on it, sent out his Infernape, and he told him to use Over Heat! All three Starly fainted! Clay said "Thank you so much, who ever you are!" The man said nothing and ran away. Clay said "Well... that was wierd!" But, his Cyndaquil was alright! He ran into the City's Pokemon Center.

He gave his Cyndaquil to Nurse Joy, and she said "Your Cyndaquil should be perfectly fine!" and healed him right up! He walked outside, and ran into a woman with green hair. Clay said "I'm so sorry!"
The girl said "That's alight."
Clay said "Do you know where the harbor is? I'm going to go to the Kanto region so I can earn all the badges, win the Pokemon Leauge, and become Pokemon Master!"
She said "Really, I was heading to Kanto, tooso I could visit a friend of mine. The harbor's right over here." She pointed straight across the street from the Pokemon Center.
Clay said "How could I miss that?" he continued "What's your name?"
The girl said "Grace. What's yours"
"Clay, nice to meet you" said Clay. They headed to the boat that was going to Kanto, and boarded.
