Pokemon 3rd Version Rant

You know how Nintendo always puts out 2 versions of each Pokemon game at the same time? Then you go and shell out the money for it and love the game... THEN A FEW YEARS LATER, THEY SCREW YOU OVER AND THEY COME OUT WITH A THIRD VERSION OF THOSE GAMES WITH SOME SPECIAL FEATURES, WHICH YOU PAY FOR AGAIN?! Yea... this is my rant on that! Those games include: Yellow, Crystal, Emerald and Platinum... Yes, I know they are better than the games they are remakes of, but Nintendo very well could've put those features in the first two games, and that is the reason for this rant! Let's get started!

OK, first of all Pokemon Emerald had a Battle Frontier and I can understand why they didn't put it in Ruby and Sapphire, they may not have had the idea of it at that time... but I just simply DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DIDN'T PUT IT IN DIAMOND AND PEARL!!! I mean, isn't it common sense to put a place that was such a big success from your last game in your next?! Yes, this is just another reason for us to all go shell out our money for a game we already own... only with a few special features! I mean, I could possibly understand them releasing them as Downloadable Content (DLC)! But no... they are just lazy and want your money all over again!

I mean, you should at least be able to trade in your cartridge of your old Pokemon game (for example Diamond or Pearl) for the new version of that (for example Platinum) game for an extra fee of about $15! I could definitely understand that because the 3rd version of that game is better, but not worth buying the game over for the second time, because you already own it...

Well, that's about all I have to say... I know this wasn't exactly the longest rant on the site, but it got the point across, and I hope Nintendo takes not of this next generation of Pokemon...
