Not too long after Yellow was released, Gold and Silver were released. The Pokemon craze was still pretty high, but slowly declining. A few months later, Crystal was released. It was a remake, and was almost the same game, just a few added features.

.:. In-Game Story .:.

Just like in Red, Blue and Yellow, you start in your room in the middle of the floor. You walk downstairs, and your mom tells you that Prof. Elm is looking for you. She tells you where his house is (it's right next door), and gives you your Pokemon Gear, which is back from the repair shop. You walk over to Prof. Elm's lab, and he is there (unlike Prof. Oak >_>)! He lets you choose one of three Pokemon, Cyndaquil, Totadile, or Chikorita. You pick one, and he tells you to go visit Mr. Pokemon, which lives above Cherrygrove city. You walk outside, toward Cherrygrove City. You notice someone looking in the window beside Prof. Elm's lab. You pay no attention, and go on toward Mr. Pokemon's house. Once you get there, he gives you Mysterious Egg, and introduces you to Prof. Oak. You talk, then Prof. Oak leaves. You talk to Mr. Pkemon for a while, and then you leave. As soon as you walk outside the door, Prof. Elm calls you on your Pokemon Gear, and tells you to hurry, and something horrible has happenned. You hurry toward Prof. Elm's lab. Just before you leave Cherrygrove City, you are stopped by the person that was looking in the window at the lab. You have a battle, and have to win. After the battle, you realize that the Pokemon your rival was using was Prof. Elm's! You head back to the lab, and Prof. Elm tells you the story, and you talk to a cop. For the rest of the story, you will have to play the game!
