As most of you know, Nintendo came out with a new model of the DS! It is called... the DSi! Some of the features are: it plays DS games, it has a built-in camera, a voice recorder, a SD card slot, pictochat, a new DSi ware (like WiiWare), a web browser, etc.

Camera

The camera is pretty cool. After you take pictures, you can play with them. You can add graphics, move around parts of the picture, add a frame, add different colors, etc. However, the camera just has a 3.0 megapixel resolution, so it's not exactly high-quality.

Voice Recorder/ Music Player

With this, you can record your voice up to 10 seconds, and then play it back and make it sound different. It can also play music. However, it uses .aap files, instead of .mp3 files, so you would need to download a file converter to change the types of files of the music for it to be able to play on the DSi. So, thats a downfall.

DSi Ware

This is just like WiiWare. You can go online, download games, store them on your system's memory, and play them. They dont have very good games right now, but hopefully they will in the future.

Internet Browser

Ok, it browses the internet. It would be kind of nice if the pages would load faster. Not even worth the memory. I deleted it off my DSi.

Score

This isnt really a score. Its an awesome game system. However, if you already have a DS Lite, I cant really recommend this to you. If you have the old origianl DS, though, it MIGHT be worth it, if you have a lot of money. However, if you dont just have a ton of money laying around, you should only get this is if you dont has any kind of DS.
