Battle Tower

The Battle Tower makes a great return in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, though with the same mechanics it may seem dull. But the prizes are worth it in the end. The Battle Tower is located in the Fight Area, towards the north there is a gate that leads to it. Now before you start battling, you should know that no matter what level Pokémon you battle with, they will all be put to level 50 once you start battling, but they will be reverted to their respective levels afterwards. Except for these Pokémon as they are not allowed in the Battle Tower, they are: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Phione, Shaymin, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Darkrai and Arceus.

Now when you enter the Battle Tower, there are three maids at three counters, the right is the Wifi area. The middle counter is the Standard battle counter, where you engage in 3 on 3 single Pokémon battles or 4 on 4 Double Pokémon battles in streaks of 7. After on the 21st match on the single battles and 49th the Tower Tycoon appears. When you first battle him he has a Dragonite, Milotic and Rhyperior. On the second occasion he has a Heatran, Regigigas and Cresselia.

The left counter is the Multi-Battle Counter, where you can link up with a friend and battle or team up with trainers you have teamed up with before in game. And that is the Battle Tower in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. In Platinum the Tower is completely changed. But until I write that article about it... See ya!
